A major water main break disrupted township operations and traffic Monday morning in West Windsor before crews completed repairs.

The break occurred on North Post Road between Courtney Road and Clarksville Road, prompting temporary traffic patterns and delays, according to township officials.

The West Windsor Township Municipal Building, the West Windsor Senior Center and the West Windsor Health Department were closed while repairs were underway.

Officials had warned residents not to expect a quick resolution.

Repairs were completed by about 10 a.m., township officials said.

There was no immediate word on the size of the water main or what caused the break.

Police said all 911 and emergency services remained fully operational throughout the incident.
