There was strong New Jersey representation at the American Music Honors in West Long Branch.
New Jersey native Dionne Warwick was honored by Bruce Springsteen at the event.
Other honorees included Patti Smith, Doctor Dre, the E Street Band and The Doors.
The night celebrated artists who have demonstrated artistic excellence and a longstanding commitment to the value of music.
