Temperatures were in the 90s for spots across the lower Hudson Valley this afternoon! Another hot one is on tap for Thursday. Moving forward, we'll see with increasing clouds late with a slight chance of a brief overnight shower or thunderstorm, particularly for our northernmost areas. Lows stay unseasonably mild, and any rain clears before sunrise.
Thursday will also bring gusty southerly winds. Highs will range from the 80s to the 90s again! A cold front approaches late Thursday night into Friday, bringing more clouds and a chance for afternoon and evening showers or thunderstorms. Despite the extra cloud cover, Friday highs will still reach the upper 70s inland. Saturday clears out nicely and will be dry and relatively cooler. Be prepared for a much bigger pattern change starting Sunday; a stronger cold front brings rain chances, followed by a significant chill early next week with highs dropping back into the 50s.
