Overnight and Beyond: Expect a quiet and cool overnight as Western Connecticut prepares for a major shift in the weather pattern.

The Warm-Up An unseasonable warm-up takes hold for the first half of the work week. Temperatures will climb aggressively, hitting the low 70s on Monday and potentially soaring to a summer-like 77 by Wednesday. It will stay a bit cooler along the Long Island Sound beaches, though still very mild for this time of year.

Rain Chances The region is currently in need of moisture but the upcoming week looks mostly dry. Aside from a spot shower possible on Monday and again late Thursday night into Friday, rain chances remain slim.
